Please be advised that pop-up blocker software
will prevent the external windows that run our presentations
from loading. We recommend that you do not install pop-up
blocker software and that you uninstall it if you already
have it running on your computer.
Additionally, if you are running Windows as your operating
system, we strongly advise that you stay current with all
Windows updates. There is an issue with Windows
service pack 2, in that it automatically blocks
pop-ups. This is a problem because most content on this
site is set to open in a new window, which is essentially
a pop-up. Most of our content is also considered active
content which is also blocked by service pack
2. If you have installed windows update service
pack 2, you will need to add *.midsouthcc.edu to your trusted
sites list.
How to add *.midsouthcc.edu to your trusted sites.
- Open Internet Explore
- Click on Tools
- Click on Internet Options
- Click on the Security tab
- Select the Trusted Sites icon
- Click on the Sites button
- Uncheck the box for "Require server verification"
- Type *.midsouthcc.edu
- Click the Add button
