How to record voice with Sound Forge
|
|
- Put
your headset on and position the microphone just
above your
nose
- Plug the mic and headset
prongs in the appropriate sockets on the left side of the laptop
- Open Sony / Sound Forge
- Click the New icon
to begin a new file
- Click the Record button to
get ready to record voice
(a new window
will open for recording)
- Click the round Record
button and begin speaking. When finished, click the same Record
button again
(but this time
it is square instead of round to indicate recording is active) to stop
recording. (The button will revert back to round.)
- Click the Close
button.
- Click the DISK button
|
- The Save As dialog
opens. Create a new folder on the Desktop and name it Audiofiles.
Save all your files there as either .wav or mp3.
|
|
- After you have saved the
file, Close it in Sound Forge, then go back to step one and follow all
steps again for each additional sound file you want to create.
